Angelina Jolie stepped out of the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood yesterday showing off her huge diamond engagement ring to the waiting paparazzi. She was all smiles as she attended the LACMA's Chinese Collection Exhibition at the LA County Museum with fiance Brad Pitt and son, Pax. Dressed in a simple neutral shift dress with a YSL bag and beige Jimmy Choo peep toe wedges she let her latest accessory- a 16 carat diamond ring do all the talking. After her recent fashion disaster at the Oscars no one was looking at her right leg now!
After 7 years together the couple officially announced their engagement on the 13th April 2012. The ring took her fiance Brad Pitt 12 months to perfect with the help of jeweller Robert Procop. The designer sees clients on an appointment-only basis at his shop located on Dayton Way and Rodeo Drive, right in the heart of Beverly Hills.
The oblong elongated diamond is inset into a thick ribbed band flanked with further diamonds to each side. A total of 16 carats of diamonds. The ring is estimated to be worth around $250,000. More suited to the style of Elizabeth Taylor who is famous for her rings and jewellery.
The Hollywood power couple confirmed their engagement last week in a statement - and their six children were said to be especially happy about the announcement.
